Explore the Flinders Ranges (12 Days)
Vic says that if you are looking for a trip that combines fantastic scenery and great four wheel driving you can’t beat the Victorian High Country. Well, he is always trying to better things and he reckons the Flinders Ranges in South Australia is as good as the High country. We have led several camping trips to the Flinders Ranges but we have had a number of people asking about an accommodated trip, so now we are offering dinner, bed & breakfast package as well as a camping trip!
The Flinders is renowned for its wild flowers in Spring, and whilst we can’t guarantee wild flowers as their presence is dependent on Winter rains, we can great scenery, great four wheel driving and great accommodation.
Vic has been exploring this area for some time and he has discovered that the true hidden gems of the Flinders are found on the private station tracks. Yes, they charge for the privilege to visit them but in the end the value for outlay on each station is absolutely outstanding. The beauty of the Station tracks is they are remote, free of the tourists and provide unbelievable scenery.
